Little Green Track Club

Sienna has participated in Little Green's Track Club for four years now. It is a nonprofit organization that teaches children how to to run in track. It is also teaches them team work, confidence, and how to have fun!

Sienna runs her best for the last race of the year!

Our friends little boy Cooper also participates in Little Green and gladly poses for a picture with Sienna!

Carissa is too young to run in Little Green Track Club, but she still had fun cheering for her sister every Tuesday night for the past 2 months.

Happy to have my mother visit!

My mom was able to stay a few days and help out the Sammons family and bond with baby Creighton. Thank you mom for everything you have done for us! We know it hasn't been easy for you since Don passed away. Creighton has many guardian angels and Don is proudly one of them!

Family and freinds to the rescue!

I love my family and friends! My aunt Sharon and my friend Angie stayed with me at night over the weekend while I was in the hospital to help out with baby Creighton. Justin had to be at home with Sienna and Carissa. Thank you Sharon and Angie for all of your support. Also, thank you to all of my family and friends who gave their support and love while I was pregnant and after Creighton was born. Baby Creighton also appreciates you helping out his mommy!

Creighton Michael Don Sammons---The newest addition to out family-

Our family is complete! Creighton Michael Don Sammons was born on 6/11/08 at 9:09 a.m. He weighed 10 lbs and 1 oz. He was 21 1/4 inches long. I had to have a c-section after pushing for nearly 2 hours because he was stuck on my pubic bone and wouldn't move over into the birth canal. I was scared about having the c-section. I was overwhelmed with emotions and cried during the whole surgery. It was a wonderful sound when I heard Creighton's first cry even though I could not see him because of the curtain literally in front of my face during the surgery. I became nervous when Dr. Cada said "Well, no wonder he wouldn't move off your pubic bone and into the birth canal." I thought maybe the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck (it wasn't.) Then she said "He's a BIG BOY!" I actually stopped crying for a moment when I heard the nurse say he weighed 10 lbs and 1 oz. WOW! No wonder I was miserable during the last few months of my pregnancy. I still can't believe he weighed that much, but the whole experience from pregnancy to labor to the c-section was all worth it. Creighton is such a good baby. I have spoiled him already, though. He only really sleeps if someone is holding him. Needless to say I'm not getting much sleep at night. Creighton has two middle names as you probably noticed. Michael is Justin's middle name and Don was my step dad's name (he passed away from pancreatic/liver cancer in March of this year.) Thank you God for my wonderful family!
Daddy sure has his hands and his "heart" full of little ones to love and hold!

Sienna and Carissa love to snuggle baby Creighton!

Uncle Darin holding his only nephew. Who do you think will win the "stare down?"
